Family

I have accumulated some 3000 relatives in my MyHeritage database. Most of these are obscure distant cousins (such as, fourth cousin twice removed). These were found for me by the MyHeritage search system - other users had carried out the basic research and I was presented with the genealogical data because those users were prepared to share. On the other hand, I extracted the details of some of my relatives from the Italian records and I was more than happy to make them available to others.

I restrict this narrative to our direct ancestors and their siblings. The family trees might include more entries for completeness. For example, all descendants of a great-grandfather.

I have decided to factor the narrative under the heading of our eight grandparents. For a given grandparent I identify all ancestors (that I can find) and siblings of ancestors. Parents and their siblings are placed with the paternal grandfather. Links to the eight sections are found below, or in the header menu entry.
